This substantial piece features many traditional metal-smithing techniques including stone setting, piercing, etching, and hollow forming. A swag of small precious beads individually set on silver wires surrounds a center motif of etched and formed scales and silver wire pistils that move freely in the body of the piece. 

The pendant can be removed from a multi-strand chain and worn as a brooch. Pin back has a locking mechanism for extra strength and security.
