Artist Statement: The memories have already been in the focus of my interest for a long time. I worked with my personal history, I used family pictures, old photographs or old newspapers with instructions for needlework and I set them into a new context. The sentimental value of old images helps me to tell new stories and express my own opinions. I am trying to show my experience with the political system and social situation from my childhood and compare it with contemporary situations.
