For this series, Calderwood explores "the role of electronic media in daily life, through the lens of children. The electronics become a visual denial to the viewer. These pieces reveal a small portion of what it means to be a human in the twenty-first century and my ambivalence with this contemporary life."
Materials: Enamel, copper, glass seed beads, aluminum, powder-coating
Size: Approximately 6" in length, 6" in width and 1" in depth
This piece is featured in our Summer 2023 exhibition, Between Realms, which celebrates three artists that utilize dreamlike, representational imagery in their work. To see the entire exhibition, click here
