LeeAnn Herreid - 'Not Your Business'

Plan B Art Project

Piece for Plan B Art Project by LeeAnn Herried

Materials: sterling silver, tiny diamond pieces inside vessel with removable cap, diamond set in removable cap

Adjustable Chain Length: 16" - 28"

About the piece:

"This quiet necklace depicts the private nature of our reproductive choices. The silver tear drop pendant is filled with tiny uncut diamonds that represent the raw potential of the eggs we are born with. Cap can be unscrewed and diamonds are removable. Twenty-eight links on the chain represent the average length of the menstrual cycle. You can move the clasp on the links to track what day of the cycle you are on. The subtle nature of this design reflects keeping your own counsel about this very confidential subject."
