Lace Earrings

Sofia Björkman is an artist and curator from Stockholm, Sweden. She is the owner of PLATINA, an art jewelry gallery and studio in Stockholm. This body of work is titled Landscapes is a series that can be seen as three-dimensional objects that move between jewelry and body-related works, drawings and paintings. All are one-of-a-kind and created with a custom-made, 3D drawing tool. Björkman uses PLA filament, a bioplastic derived from renewable biomass that she melts and then makes light-as-air, wearable drawings. Sofia draws each piece by hand and believes these pieces should not be mistaken for digital technology.
