This earthen statement brooch by Carina Shoshtary uses a variety of organic and artificial media, combining found materials and bio-plastic in her pieces as a way of juxtaposing the familiar and the unfamiliar. Comprised of lacquered plumes of paper flowing outwards from a single stone, the components are meshed together with colorful of border.

Fireworks in the Rain, featuring five renowned international artists, explores the productive tension between apparent opposites — fragility and strength, fire and water, luminosity and weight, monumentality and delicacy. Much like fireworks persisting through rain, the selected works embody paradox: jewelry that appears substantial yet proves unexpectedly light; pieces where scale contradicts material perception; color combinations that defy expectation; and forms where contrast becomes harmony.
