"About the Work:
Modern, yet organic forms, mixed with forging and hammering techniques are what inspire my jewelry designs. All pieces are handmade using traditional methods of metalsmithing such as fabrication, forming, texturing, and stone setting. We believe in sustainability and only use recycled metals, conflict free or recycled gemstones and diamonds, and practice environmentally safe practices in our studio.
While studying interior design in college, Nikki stumbled upon a metalsmithing class that eventually led her to an alternative career in jewelry design. In 2006 Nikki graduated from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville with a BFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing. With an appreciation for architecture, space, and scale, Nikki creates modern, wearable art. "
