UK-based artist Rebecca Ilett's Things Unsaid collection features four brooches created using objects and materials from her collection of archival materials. This brooch, Chubby Stump, represents the story of a budget gift hastily assembled with the awareness of the lack of money. Rebecca's sister received the gift of a matchbox, an old Christmas cake decoration and a well worn crayon and regarded it with disdain.
