Turkish artist Burcu Büyükünal has always found comfort in being alone. In those quiet moments, she can distance herself from the weight and exhaustion of human interaction. These are the most creative times - when Burcu feels fully present and aware. It’s a space for making, for expressing what has been left unsaid. This body of work, Unsaid, is her way of celebrating that creative loneliness - beyond all the masks. Each one of a kind piece is made with sterling silver casts of abstract drawings of faces or masks created with a 3D pen.
