Yasuko was born in Sapporo, Japan. In 1994, she moved to New York City and studied Jewelry Making and Design at Fashion Institute of Technology.
After mastering crafting of delicate hand piercing and hand finished “Diamond Dust” texture, in 2002 Yasuko launched her own collection with her partner Richard Ito. Both techniques continue to be part of her signature styles.
She loves working with earth-toned natural diamonds and other stones and they are set in textured 18k gold. Yasuko creates jewelry that marry her own soft spoken elegance with femininity.
Yasuko’s collection focuses on the earthy delights each of which are hand-curved and hand-finished. All of collections are created at her studio in Brooklyn, NY.
