This remarkably textured ring by artist Emmeline Hastings is part of the Fireworks in the Rain exhibition. Hastings creates organic "landscapes" by methodically inserting metal fragments into carved acrylic forms. Mounted on a knife edge band, this ring is pierced with oxidized argentium silver scales, arranged intentionally to give the viewer a dynamic look from every angle.
