Part of our Fireworks in the Rain exhibition, this nautical brooch by Carina Shoshtary makes a refined, contemporary statement. Shoshtary combines found materials and bioplastic in her pieces to juxtapose the familiar and the unfamiliar. This piece is informed by the history of the snail shell encased within it, showcasing oceanic shapes and forms spiraling outwards from the center.
